NEW FROM MB SCIENTIFIC: MBS EM-1!
We are excited to announce the successful installation of our first Electron Monochromator, the MBS EM-1 #001, at EMPA—Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology—in Switzerland.
During the acceptance test, a palladium (Pd) reference sample was measured. Even before the vacuum system was baked, the measurements demonstrated an energy resolution (FWHM) of 517.7 meV at 800 eV and 430.7 meV at 1600 eV.
Covering an energy range from 100 eV to 2 keV, the MBS EM-1 opens new possibilities for experiments that require a monochromated electron beam.
